What Staff Can Access
Here's what's currently in your hands — and what's being handled by Ariel/Admin for now.
Current staff access in GoHighLevel
Contacts
View patrons, find language groups, and select people to send SMS to.
Conversations
Read and reply to messages from patrons across SMS and WhatsApp.
This means staff can help with basic communication tasks.
Staff can currently do
- View contacts
- Search for contacts
- Check conversations
- Review replies from community members
- Send SMS messages
- Send short event reminders
- Attach flyers to SMS messages when needed
- Review English and Spanish messages
- Help keep event details accurate for the weekly update
Staff do NOT currently have access to
Automations / Workflows
Staff should not update or edit the WhatsApp weekly automation directly.
Admin-only areas
The following areas are handled by Ariel/Admin for now:
- WhatsApp automations
- Weekly workflow updates
- Meta/WhatsApp templates
- Workflow triggers
- Language paths
- Timing/wait steps
- Automation testing
- Troubleshooting workflow issues

These settings are connected to how the WhatsApp system works. A small accidental change can stop the weekly update from sending correctly.
