Welcome to the DFPL Communication Hub. This is the internal system Dover Free Public Library staff use to plan events, send reminders, and coordinate weekly WhatsApp updates. Everything here is designed to be simple and friendly — no technical background needed.
WhatsApp = weekly calendar update. WhatsApp is used once a week to send the full calendar of upcoming events.
SMS = quick event reminder. SMS is for short, single-event reminders sent close to the event time.
What this system is
The Communication Hub brings staff training, event planning, and messaging reminders together in one place. Instead of keeping track of events across sticky notes, emails, and separate apps, staff can see every upcoming event, its status, its flyers, and its checklist in the Event Dashboard. Training materials — videos and PDFs — live here too, so anyone can learn or refresh at any time.
